Ban Leong is the Managing Director and founder of Prolegis LLC. His experience covers a varied range of corporate and commercial work, particularly cross border acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments, acting for local and multinational corporations as well as governmental instrumentalities. Ban Leong is both Singapore and English qualified, and prior to establishing Prolegis, had for the large part of his career practised in the Singapore office of a Magic Circle firm. He has been in practice for over 25 years.

Ban Leong has been recommended in key industry publications in the 'International Firm' category as a leading lawyer for Corporate M&A, including The IFLR1000, The Legal 500 and Chambers Global, and more recently, consistently commended under the 'Local Firm' category for Corporate and M&A in The Legal 500 since 2016. He authored The Practical Law Company's series on "Cross Border Acquisitions" for Singapore for both the 2009 & 2011 editions.

Sandra is a Director at Prolegis. She has significant experience over more than two decades in a broad spectrum of commercial, corporate finance and regulatory work including equity capital markets transactions, private equity investments, private and public company mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and general corporate advisory work.

She is both Singapore and English qualified. She began her legal career as a Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney-General's Chambers. Prior to joining Prolegis, she was a corporate finance partner in two leading Singapore law firms, and also practised in the London offices of two of the world's largest law firms. She read law under a Singapore Public Service Commission Merit Scholarship and has an LLM in International Commercial Law from Nottingham University and the National University of Singapore. She is a Sloan Fellow and was awarded the Sloan Fellowship Women's Scholarship to pursue the Sloan Fellowship Masters in Leadership and Strategy at London Business School.

Sandra has been noted as one of Singapore's leading Corporate/M&A Lawyers in Chambers Global. She has co-authored numerous articles on Singapore law and regulatory matters, including co-authoring The Law Review's The Initial Public Offerings Law Review (Singapore Chapter) 2018 (2nd Ed). She regularly conducts seminars and trainings for clients on regulatory matters including on corporate governance, AML/anti-bribery, competition and data protection.

Valerie is a Director at Prolegis. She has significant experience providing legal advisory services in relation to trusts, asset protection, succession planning, estate management as well as structured trade finance.

Valerie is English, Singapore and Malaysia qualified and has practised with some of the most established law firms in Singapore and Malaysia. She also played an instrumental role in setting up the Malaysian office of a prominent Singapore law firm. Valerie transitioned into the financial industry in 1998 and was a legal director with a boutique private equity firm in Singapore prior to joining Prolegis.

Jen Jen is an Of Counsel of Prolegis. Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, Jen Jen has over 15 years of experience in a diverse range of corporate and corporate finance matters. Her portfolio includes advising clients on initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and general corporate advisory.

Prior to joining Prolegis, Jen Jen was a corporate and finance partner at one of the "big four" law firms in Singapore and a legal director with a Singapore government-owned corporation.

Jen Jen is both Singapore and Malaysia qualified. She graduated with a double degree, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Wah Nam is Of Counsel at Prolegis. His experience spans the public and private sectors. This includes, in the public sector, advising and representing the Singapore government in legal and regulatory matters, contracts and legal proceedings; and in the private sector, representing clients in shareholder agreements, joint ventures, acquisitions, investments, and general corporate and commercial advisory and contracts work.

He was a corporate and commercial partner at a leading law firm in Singapore and has held senior legal appointments at leading Singapore-listed multinationals with global operations.

Wah Nam was also a state counsel in the Singapore Legal Service. He read law at Cambridge University under a Singapore Overseas Merit scholarship, and was called to the English Bar. He was commissioned as an infantry officer in the Singapore Armed Forces and has held command and staff appointments.

Sze Min is a Senior Associate at Prolegis. Her main areas of practice include public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate debt restructuring and advisory and she has dealt with a broad spectrum of work both in the local and cross-border context. Sze Min has advised clients on transactions spanning a diverse range of industry sectors including property development and real estate, fashion and retail, corporate services, energy and resources, and shipping.

Sze Min graduated from King's College London and is Singapore qualified. Prior to joining Prolegis, she practised in one of the "big four" law firms in Singapore.

Weihong is an Associate at Prolegis. His main areas of practice include public take-overs and private mergers as well as acquisitions and joint ventures, in both local and cross-border contexts. In addition to transactional corporate and commercial work, he has also advised clients on regulatory matters such as securities, financial advisory and insurance regulations.

Weihong graduated from the National University of Singapore and is Singapore qualified. Prior to joining Prolegis, he practised in one of the "big four" law firms in Singapore.

Alex is an Associate at Prolegis. His main areas of practice include corporate and commercial work, and he joins Prolegis from the legal department of a US-headquartered MNC where he principally advised on commercial matters as well as regulatory cases. Prior to that, he was a commercial litigator, advising on a broad range of matters that included insurance work, commercial disputes, mediation and arbitration proceedings and employment-related matters.

Alex graduated from Singapore Management University, and also completed a study exchange programme at Göteborg University in Sweden. He serves the Singapore Armed Forces as a Captain in an Armour Brigade.
