Working at Prolegis means you will be part of a supportive and open team which allows you to be yourself. We will support your ambition and provide you with rewards and opportunities tailored to your needs and goals. Through our Formal Law Alliance partner with Herbert Smith Freehills, you’ll have access to regular training and development opportunities, and gain exposure to the work and clients of an international law firm.

Training Programme

Outstanding law graduates are welcome to apply to our two-year training programme. You’ll commence your Practice Training Programme to complete your first two rotations and work on high-profile cases and deals for prestigious clients. You’ll be admitted to Singapore Bar upon completing the Practice Training Contract after 12 months, and complete the rest of the training programme with Herbert Smith Freehills.

You’ll also be sponsored to undertake the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) at the end of the training programme.

Life as a future joiner

We take the development and welfare of our future lawyers very seriously. Even before starting the training programme with us, you’ll be invited to social events in our office and start building your network.

Be a part of everything

Over the two-year training programme, you’ll rotate across four, six-month seats, giving you the chance to experience different practice areas before committing to a specialism. All trainees spend time in corporate and litigation in Prolegis in the first two seats.

During your time at Herbert Smith Freehills, you can also choose to sit in finance, employment, energy and international arbitration and have the opportunity to take a secondment at one of their overseas offices. For more information of the training programme, please refer to Herbert Smith Freehills graduate website.

Who can apply

Vacation schemes will be interviewed for the training programme during the scheme.  We also accept direct applications.
